WE AS A FAMILY, WOULD JUST LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THERE CONTINUED SUPPORT AND HELPING TO KEEP A BIT OF DONNA'S MEMORY ALIVE. IF DONNA WAS TOO SEE THIS SITE WE KNOW SHE WOULD BE AMAZED BY HOW MANY PEOPLE CARE AND SHOW THERE LOVE TOWARDS THIS FAMILY. SO A MASSIVE THANKYOU ON BEHALF OF OUR ANGEL, DONNA AND HER FAMILY AND RELATIVES ASWELL AS FRIENDS XX

Donna Phillips a great amazing woman, now a perfect angel is missed by all who knew her. Us as a family want to remember Donna for who she was not how she died. Her death is not going to take away the amazing memories we have of her being in our life. We our so very lucky to of had Donna and still have Donna in this family. It breaks our hearts to think of Donna as gone so we don't think of her as gone ... we think of her living on in our hearts and being involved in everything.

Donna lived everyday as if it was her last, she loved everything about life, her family, her friends, she loved singing if ever you heard her voice it would bring tears to your eyes. Donna\'s smile would just melt your heart, her eyes so big and dark with a big sparkle ... she was full of life, full of love, full of energy and fun. When Donna was around children she was a big child her self the fun loving part always showed when she was with the children ... a big kid her self most the time wanting to get involved in all the games at parties ... Talking of parties every christmas Donna would get up on Karoke and sing \"I will always love you\" to her family ... a great message which she left with all of us.

Donna stood out from everyone ... she was the sun on a rainy day, she was the life & soul of every party. She would walk down the street with a massive smile on her face like she had some good news all the time. As soon as you was with Donna she would just make you smile, make you laugh, when ever you was down she was there to cheer you up. She was simply great with people ... i don\'t really have to explain this look at the photo\'s and you can see how fun she was to be around, look at that smile look at the energy she had ... the impact she had on people but most of all look at how much love there is and the happiness which is held around.

I\'m not trying to make out Donna was this perfect human being because she wans\'t ... but then again who is? She had problems and issue\'s which sadly took her life away because she couldn\'t do it by herself Alcoholism is a killer and it needs to be stopped ... I am not going to go into detail about Donna\'s death because it\'s not something any of us want to remember ... but she went in a way that no one deserves, a way that it will always be in the back of our minds forever. We want to get the possitive out of Donna\'s death by helping others in the same situation as Donna ... So in 2006 her mum Carol opened a support group inmemory of our Donna called \"Minnies Friends\" and later joined forces with \"Suga\"

IF WE SPOKE TO DONNA ONE LAST TIME, WE KNOW WHAT SHE WOULD SAY \"REMEMBER ME BUT LET ME GO\" THATS THE HARDEST PART THE LETTING GO BUT WE HAVE TO IN OUR OWN TIME.

WE MISS DONNA EVERY SECOND OF EVERYDAY, TO HAVE SOMEONE INVOLVED IN ALL YOUR LIFE AND THEN HAVE THEM SNATCHED AWAY SO FAST ... DONNA IS A HERO TO MANY AN INSPIRATION TO ALL, A WONDERFUL MOTHER WHO LOVED HER CHILDREN SO MUCH, A PERFECT DAUGHTER SISTER COUSIN NEICE AUNTY FRIEND AND GRANDDAUGHTER. THERES ONLY ONE THING I WOULD CHANGE ABOUT DONNA AND THAT WAS HER ILLNESS.

We lined the sides of the path
As they carried your coffin through
We filed to the back of the church
There\'s so many here to see you.

I sit at the front of the Church
With many more standing outside
There aren\'t enough seats in there
For everyone to be inside.

My cousin entwined her hand in mine
And whispered \'Are you alright?\'
I looked at her with tearful eyes
And said \'I want her by my side\'

Many speak of your life
though it wasn\'t very long
It brings to me many laughs
But so many more tears.

They lower your coffin into the ground

My body feels so hollow.
i looked up at the sky and seen so many baloons

As they all gather at your grave

I stood by your bed last night;
I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying you found it hard to sleep.
I spoke to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
'It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here.'
I was close to you at breakfast,
I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached to me.
I was with you at the shops today; your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today; you tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.
I flew with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently landed on you; I smiled and said, 'it's me.'
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, 'I never went away.'
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning and say 'good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning.'
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll fly across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you,
there is so much for you to see.

then come home to be with me.

FOR YOU SENT TO ME AN ANGEL WHO NOW DWELLS WITH YOU ABOVE.
COULD YOU PLEASE JUST TAKE A MINUTE AND HOLD MY ANGEL TIGHT,
TELL HIM THAT I LOVE HIM AND THINK OF HIM EACH NIGHT.
